Where did you go to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival?
Last year, on the Mid-Autumn Festival, my family and I had a wonderful time in our hometown. The night sky was clear and full of stars, which made the moon especially bright and round. We gathered around the courtyard, enjoying the beautiful view while eating mooncakes, a traditional Chinese dessert.
We also played a game called "Guess the Mooncake" where we hid a piece of mooncake in each person's bag, and everyone had to guess whose bag contained the mooncake. The laughter and joy filled the air, making it a memorable evening.
My favorite part was when we made lanterns together. We used paper, bamboo sticks, and colorful threads to create beautiful lanterns with various shapes and sizes. After that, we lit the lanterns and released them into the sky. The lanterns swayed gently, like little stars, floating towards the moon, symbolizing our good wishes for the future.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions and sharing happiness. It was a perfect occasion for me to cherish the moments with my loved ones and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of our country. I hope that in the years to come, I can continue to experience the beauty of this traditional festival.
